Whenever you are in a public place or anywhere, do you feel secured? Isn’t it a big relief to see guards roaming around the place or simply on duty? Yes! It frees our worries regarding safety when you can see them everywhere.In fact, they can be penalized in doing so. Security guards are destined to protect us all as well as the property of his/her employer. They are also responsible for preventing incidents from occurrence. In case they fail to prevent it from happening, it is their duty to observe and to report about the incident.

A big responsibility is in their hands which make being an armed security guard quite difficult. Security guards should always be highly visible to ensure people’s safety and to discourage people who are planning to do a crime. But while a lot of people also overlooked the importance of security guard, some also fears armed security guard. But this should not be because this king of guard will not hurt anyone, they had special training of becoming a good security and hurting anyone is not in their training. BUT, there is always an exception to the rule. Security plays a vital role in securing the safety of who they are working for. They also have to make sure that no one  is hurt with while they are on duty. In some cases where an armed security needs to fire, those are the only times that they could hurt someone. But this is because it is a MUST to do it, it is to stop someone for hurting a lot of people. Good example of this are holdup, bank robbery and terrorist attach and so on.

The life of a security guard; armed or unarmed is dangerous as they are always on on the front of the house. It is sad to face the truth that no matter how important they are, they still do not receive that much salary compared to other profession. With all the training and certification though, one can go for advancement. So, if you choose to become a security guard, make sure that you are willing to commit yourself and always be on the look out. That’s how an armed security guard must and so with the other type of guard.
