Security is in the second to the bottom part of the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, next to physiological needs. Which means that it is really needed by people. Everyone has a need to secure their employment, health, investments, properties and to secure not only themselves but those who are important to them as well. In addition to that, a lot of crimes have been happening all around the world. Especially when money and power is involved.This place have been unsafe since then. This must be the reason why security guards have been increasingly in demand. So, isn’t it great to know that there are security guards in almost everywhere we go? Don’t you feel secured seeing them in places that you go?

Some people don’t understand the importance of security guard, thinking lowly of them. I think we should be more respectful to security guards because of their willingness to sacrifice their very own lives just to be able to secure your safety. Remember that most of them have their own families that they are not able to protect because they have their duty to protect you. They even have to work on holidays, imagine how lonely their family must be, celebrating by themselves. Besides, a lot of people don’t know how hard it is to carry such a big responsibility to secure people’s lives. Imagine the responsibility they carry, this would mean that their training would not be that easy. The difference between them and police officers is that their job is more specific. It may be limited only to a certain company, apartment, building, subdivision or private properties and even houses.

Being a security guard, unarmed or armed is totally a very difficult job. If you are planning to be one of them, you have to know that there are things that you have to undergo; there will be trainings that you must pass to get the certification and license, otherwise, you will not become a security guard at all.

SO, when planning to become one of the best security guard, be sure that you can handle the training. Medical examination is also mandatory  just like any other occupation. Being a security officer is truly awesome, you will get to be called hero once you do your best while you are on duty. You can apply as a security guard or a body guard (but there is a big difference and you have to more research on how to become a body guard); this is an exciting job but it’ s more dangerous especially if you are guarding a politician or a notorious criminal.
